Drug intelligence / Profile preview
[68Ga]Ga-DOTA-ZCAM241 (also known as ATC001) is a gallium-68 labeled DOTA-conjugated Affibody molecule (ZCAM241) that targets cluster of differentiation 69 (CD69), an early cell surface marker of activated immune cells. Developed by Antaros Tracer (a sister company of Antaros Medical) in collaboration with Affibody, Uppsala University, Karolinska Institutet, and KTH Royal Institute of Technology, this radiopharmaceutical is designed as a positron emission tomography (PET) imaging tracer. It is being developed for the non-invasive, quantitative assessment of inflammatory processes and immune activation in diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease, diabetes, and immuno-oncology. Preclinical studies have demonstrated that [68Ga]Ga-DOTA-ZCAM241 PET imaging can detect active joint inflammation in rheumatoid arthritis models before the onset of clinical symptoms.
